Our cool beach huts are all getting a Christmas twist from the 21st December 2024, up to and including New Year's Day 2024. The beach huts are decorated for you, for Christmas, in our signature cool way. So why not elevate your festive beach trip and book your very own front row, spacious, cool beach hut, where you can eat, drink and be merry in style. Oh and did I mention complementary mulled wine, which will be left by our elves ready for your visit.

@talkingtables-tt Christmas dipsticks came with, charades, hum the tune, festive dares and Christmas cracker jokes (did you hear about the man who stole an advent calendar - he got 25 days!) to get you in the festive mood, along with extra blankets to keep you cosy.
Blankets
Our spacious huts accommodate up to 8 people and two dogs (Both Mersea and Frinton beaches are dog friendly in the autumn and winter)
All at our special December rate of £80 per day (The beach huts are available from 9.30am)

Beach Huts

Dogs
The beach hut is dog friendly and 2 well-behaved dog crew members are welcome There is a dog water bowl in the beach hut and treats. Dogs are allowed on both Frinton and Mersea beach during winter.
Parking
Mersea
November to March it is possible to park in Seaview Avenue car park. Or for free on the double red lines along Victoria Esplanade, which is about a minutes walk from both beach huts.

Frinton
Parking is free along the greensward which is about 100 metres from the beach hut. The postcode CO13 9DN will take you to the closest location to park, which is where The Esplanade loo block is located (about a one minute walk from the beach hut).

Loos
Mersea
The Willoughby Avenue Public loos are about a minutes walk from all the beach huts and are open in the winter 8am to 6pm (except Christmas Day and New Years Day). There is also an accessible Changing Places toilet for those with additional accessibility needs in the Victoria Esplanade Carpark. These are open 8am to 6pm. Frinton
The pay toilet (20p) at the end of Connaught avenue and on The Esplanade are open all year round (except Christmas Day). In winter they open by 8.30am and close at 6pm (4pm on Boxing Day and New Years Day). They are very close to Frinton 343, about a one minute walk up the zig zag path.

Hot Drinks
There is complimentary hot-chocolate, a bottle of mulled wine, tea and coffee at the beach huts. You will need to bring milk. All beach huts have a two ring gas stove (with gas and a kettle.
Games + Blankets
The beach huts are fully equipped as usual with lots of board-games and playing cards.

Beach Wheelchair
Please let us know if you would like a beach wheelchair organised. We can arrange for the use of a D-Bug beach wheelchair or Hippocampe beach wheelchair.
